According to Wikipedia, Leader of the Pack writers Jeff Barry, Ellie Greenwich and George "Shadow" Morton went after the Detergents for "plagiarizing" the song. Never mind that it was a PARODY for god's sake! And, they didn't go after others who mocked the song.
Of course, Wikipedia is full of shit and in fact, they didn't leave a link to show prove of these claims.
If the lawsuit did happen, then I hope Greenwich and Morton are enjoying being burnt DOWN THERE! Jeff Barry will soon join them, for now he continues to rot moldingly!
If it didn't happen, then I retract the last paragraph and wish nothing but torture and misery to the cowardly pieces of shit who run that poorly runned website known as Wikipedia!
